creature WIP - (nude)

Helloo ... so I'm here just having fun with zbrush since I haven't used it in a few years. Really enjoying the "dynamesh" feature thing so far.

So at the moment I'm just randomly moving around the character and updating him. I'm thinking of leaving the head detailing for after I'm happy with the torso and arms and after I merge the arms to the body. I sort of got stuck on the rib cage area (not too happy with it at the moment) and puttered out around the chest area ... think I'll go do something else for a bit and come back to this guy later. I still need to update his back muscles as well ... I'll get to it at some point. As of now I have no clue were I'm going with this character but would like to give him some clothes and trinkets. Thinking of something along the line of african savana, tribe like ... yeah, well see ...

cheers!

P.S. Oh and I don't know if I needed to mention this but any critics or ideas for this fellow are always welcome. I'm using him for learning anatomy and zbrush techniques.

Creature Update

A little bit of an update ...

Refined the arm muscles some more. This project has unintentionally become a male anatomy study as well as a creature concept. Started working on the head again as well. I'm laying out some of his facial muscle and bone structure to hopefully get a more believable result.

Once again ... critics are welcome as I go along. Cheers!

character update

Did a quick concept to see what direction I'm thinking of guying with this character ... also touched up on the model some more ... getting a better sense of anatomy... slow and steady.
