progress

Let's see, I used a few IMM brushes, which are pretty helpful I have to add! And I worked out how to build a brush, I like to call the "robotic valve".

Looking very good. A nice level of "constructed" feel to it.

Update

Final update before bed. As always, any feedback is much appreciated!

really nice work so far.

Will be very interesting to see the final image. I only have one suggestion. At the forehead, where the wires are going into the skin, maybe make some holes or cylinders around it, so that there is some transition between the wires and the skin. But that is only one little detail. I really like it.

Feedback

Thanks Anna
That is in fact what I'm going to do I'm going to resculpt the retopologized face and have some nice skin stretching over the pipe, but I didn't think about popping a cylinder in there.. I'll try that out as well, once I get to the face

Thanks again!

Today's work

This is from what I've done so far today, still got a few hours to go before sleep!

This is looking really good, but I have one small criticism. The bit where the skin is being pulled back just above the ears. doesn't look right. The anchor point on the cyber-skull is in the wrong place. I'd move it to closer to the other corner of the plate it's on. Maybe half way toward the other anchor.
Basically keeping it in line with were the skin is pointing.

Well spotted! And it has been fixed accordingly,

Edit: Also, I'm unsure about the cheek pipe? What do you think?

The skin pull is much better.
I think the first version looks a little better. But if you add little ties holding the skin closed on the second version I think that would be even better again.

you mean little clips attaching the skin to the cheek pipe? orrr..?

wonderful right now
keep on

Last update for the night

Not a lot new, got rid of the cheek pipe, it just bugged me. Added the symbols to the plate. I think they look nice, but feedback is always welcome.

Bonus points if you can guess what band they symbols come from

This looks really nice :-) especially where the pipes are going under the skin
