Problem with shadows

Hi, I'm still in the learning process of doing a 3d model with 3ds max. I've been following tutorials from other sites and this is as far as I can go currently. Not sure how to put shadows inside the mouth. Sorry for this noob question

I'm not familiar with 3dsmax, but with all 3D packages, you don't manually add a shadow to certain portions. You have to enable shadows (look at your light or render) attributes and they'll be calculated for you automatically based on where the light is placed.
