Captain of the Black Steel Aker ( ascension X character modeling)

For all of those that know me my name is Chris Sanders and I've been working with a small team to design a new fighting game for the ouya called ascension X. We have recently moved to modeling and I have been working on this character all day long. I can't seem to get it right and want to ask for advice. I think someone on this forum might be able to help me. the model is beeing made in 3D studio max and Zbrush.

You can find more information on the ascension project on our facebook fanpage found

improvement

I decided to take everyone advice and restart and pay more attention to the forms. I still have problems working on the wrinkles in the cloth but it's getting there.

another update

I've been slowly crank this character out in my spare time. Lots more work left to do and I'm open for suggestions. Focusing on form and his armor breaks then I'll worry about details.
