ironman mark 42

hey there everyone!
long time no see! lol
well, i've been busy, but im back now!
and i've decided to do the ironman again! this time the mark 42!

im using 3Ds Max for the modeling but the rig is gonna be made in Maya!
i actually prefer Maya now, but i found it better "for me" to do the hard surface stuff on Max...
so here is where im at right now! worked at it for an hour or so yesterday....

what do you think? ..... ooo and.... should i use the timer again just like the old one??!?!

Hey man,

What you've got so far looks pretty good, but it might help to reduce your poly count a little. I can see from your viewport renders that things are a little wobbly, and that will only look worse when you put the chrome material on it. If you can cut some edge loops out, it should help to smooth the surface.

You also might want to temporarily remove the smoothing, and get all your vertices lined up more closely.

More angle in the trapeze

Depend of your references.. I found a life size model of Ironman 3, but the Mark 42 of Hot Toys have soft angles
