Very cool one, i love it! Maybe IMO the arms are a bit too long but hey, it's an artistic choice.

This is awesome. I really like how this mech looks, although IMO there is a little too much neon lights, even for sci-fi.
Old 08 August 2013   #24
Darth-Biomech: Thanks man . I will adjust more to make the neon lights more acceptable with the mecha

I really like the orange dark grey/black color scheme. It makes it way easier to read the shapes than the light grey blue one.
Did you do the UVs in 3d coat? In which bit depth are you going to texture?

Cool stuff, coming back for more

Thanks Andre for your time and comment , I really appreciate it . Dark grey/black color scheme is also most favorable to me but I wanted to play more with the color so, I will fix the final color at the final render or at the compositing. I did the uv's in 3dcoat but final tweeking was done in maya . I also used dDo2 for quick base texture. Also fixing some seams and rest of the texturing in Mari at 8 bit depth. Thanks

Hello TMNIVISION, Very nice work !! I have a little question because i'm learning Zbrush: How do you get the low poly mesh ? (picture number 5 and 6) Thanks so much.

Zoggy: Thanks that you like it. In zBrush after concept sculpt I cut it into peaces (several subtools) . Then I refined it for more polished look. Export the highres mesh(obj) into 3d-coat peace by peace and retopo all of them. Bring the retopo mesh into maya and finished the modeling . Thanks.
