I spent 5 hour modelling/tweaking/setting up render, it rendered overnight in cycles. ![]() Please take a look at the hands - do you think that is too much of a difference in the texture between the hands and face? I'm using meta-balls - I think the original guys used squashed spheres. UV's are pretty much non-existent in movable meta-balls. However, they have a great response with seams - they just mesh over it rather than creating those lines. That's why I chose meta-balls. Also, what about the setting/ background? Simple backgrounds don't detract from the characters as much as complicated ones do (they also take less time to make ) I went with simple. Here's another image of the background in blue / slightly different angle: ![]() Comments on those would be appreciated. |
