Miranda Kerr 3D model

i posted this models head a couple weeks ago and i though id update my progress. having issues with the hair and now i think i will have to redo the hair entirely. the problem is when i hit play on the time slider maya freezes up. i used the fibermesh to curve method of making hair so i think the output curves are just too much for the system to handle. I either have to start from scratch or when i do the fibermesh to curve lower the curve output. if anyone else has any suggestions please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated. other than that let me know what you think!!

Thank you

Not a particularly good likeness and her skin seems to have the qualities of a Thunderbirds puppet.

Thanks for the critique.. Ill work on the face some more honestly I've been looking at it so long I needed a 3rd eye! I appreciate your honesty! Ill see if I can improve, is there anything particular about her face that seems really off to you?

Straight off I would say the mouth is too wide, you have one eye crossed (looking in to the middle), the skin texture is very plastic looking and while in real life she is a bit of a barbie doll she's not that much of a barbie doll

You have also missed the dimple in her chin by the looks of it. I think you would benefit from studying some more hi res reference images and perhaps even starting from scratch.

Why have you made five threads on the same subject?

Thanks numptus1!! i have started from scratch and have realized i have missed a ton of detail. i tried to stay away from image planes because i could never get them to work out for me but i understand now that that is the only way to get a true likeness.

Sorry Telemachus the first two were an error i failed to post pics in them, im a little new to using forums. and honestly the last three were a desperate cry for help! I love cg and i want to make a career out of it but i know i need to get better and this is the best place to do it.
