Halo: The Fallen (FanFilm)

My name is Wesley Griffith and I'm a 3d modeler/texture artist for the fan film Halo: The Fallen. VERY fortunately funded through kickstarter we've been in production for almost a year now and are starting to wrap up filming.

I just wanted to create this thread to show off some of the things we've done so far and some of the models I've made, as I'm allowed to show them off.

I'm an environment artist working in the Video Games industry for about 3 years now and I've always spent as much of my freetime as I can to getting some 3d modeling for visual effects practice in. I'm trying to make the jump over to visual effects (preferably television at first).

I've only recently been diving into Vray and to start it off here is my first vray render. I did the jackal you can see in the trailer here:

And here's a still from that.

As soon as the director says it's ok I'll post up some of the beauty renders of the jackal as well as some WIPS of the escape pod. Cheers!

Sweeeet the director said it was cool that I post WIPs up here so here is what I'm working on.

So for the jackal I'm going to go back and redo the mateirals on his leg armor. I've learned alot more about vray and can make them look more like metal and less like concrete.

Here are the wips for the escape pod.

Hope you guys enjoy and any feedback is appreciated!
