Really great work. For the Father Time wip you might want to give the blade a little thickness, feels flimsy at the moment. Are you gonna texture dirt on him?

Also I didn't realise that the arm under the beard is sleeveless until I looked at it again, you might want to sculpt out (if you are still doing so) a few bandages trailing off the arm so that the eye leads to it.

Other than that really awesome stuff.

Latest crunches

It's been a while since I posted!

Clay render of my father time character:

Quick latenight polycount crunch:

A scene I'm working on at the moment. Still have a truckload of stuff to do, including:

- some more modeling
- texturing
- bring in a character
- decide on the lighting (moody/daylight/dark)
- ...

Cheers!

I agree, u show great skills overall. Maybe just the character's cloth isn't at the same high level than the rest and the hands' skin seems too pale, but really a stunning work anyway . Keep on posting, it's a pleasure to look at this thread

Hurray, finished my shaded version and it ended up in the editor's showcase. It can be found over here: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthr...f=132&t=1129956.

Also completed my uni assignment, a character with a 5500 poly limit, no textures allowed.

Gauthier the happy chef

Hi all!

Been reviving this older project. Blockout is almost done, would love some feedback on the composition.

Exclamation Finished the project

Was able to wrap up the project earlier this week. God - it has come a long way since I last posted here!

View the project thread here: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=1142812

Also made the effort to make a making-of. Hope you like it!

Nice! I really like the making of video. It does justice to how much work goes into a piece like this.

This kind of stuff just blows me away...Nice job! I like how you can add so much character to your work (pun not intended.) I need to check out ZBrush sometime...I have Mudbox but I don't use it very much, and I have trouble getting those really tiny details in there.
