Hi All!
Not sure, why this piece of work got regected from gallery, could someone help me?
On i've done everything except modeling.

I quite like the image, although the left is definitely stronger than the right.

I think darkening the bases of the mushrooms so that they don't appear 'stuck on' would go a long way into strengthening the right of the image.

That said, the main reason I could see this getting rejected isn't technical, but rather interpretive. The image doesn't have a focus, or tell a story.













All of those photographs have a very strong focus on SUBJECT, while you image is only focusing on SETTING.

Composition wise, I think you could also add in much more depth by adding in a foreground piece.

Darkening the stumps of even a few mushrooms on the right should help greatly, at present they all look too clean. Apart from that, I like it.
