this is a pretty cool start...I like the Blizzard style design...but does he maybe have to many teeth? I dunno, looks a bit strange with all those little razor like teeth in there. Liking the armour with the different style spikes all over it.

Keep going!!

I agree with the last comment about the teeth. Also the chains seem a little weird for me. I think you need to find some purpose for them to be there.

I definitely agree with the comments so far. My problems are that the shoulder thing has zero detail - just a few planes stacked up - and that you have a pretty obvious seam going down the middle of his head.

It's a good start but there's a lot you can do to make this way more interesting (make it your own!).

Thumbs up Love the critiques

Thank you all.

superhooman - You're right. I wasn't really happy with the teeth and I reworked on it. Please have a look.

AlexSarakapudaff - I was trying to give the Orc a captivated look. Now, I'm thinking of making few chunks of the chain broken and it's on the air. Not sure, how that would look but I'll give it a try.

astu11 - Thanks! I'll add some details over the shoulder armor. I'll be fixing the seam once I'm done with everything and before I'm taking the model to Zbrush.

Ah, that makes sense. Didn't realize you were planning on taking it into Zbrush - that'll do it

xtrm3d - Thanks buddy. Wish I had more time to work on the base mesh.

astu11 - haha! that's right. I'll see if I could add little more details in maya and then It's Zbrush time

Looking good, but the pecs look wrong. If you look up real men photos such as bodybuilders and fit people in general, they have smoother transition to the body and you have it with pronounced edge and some weird wrinkle. Also think about rib cage and sternum, pectoralis muscles are on top of the ribcage so they follow the curvature and add some extra volume. Your orcs chest looks as it was flattened somehow. If you can get an understanding on how muscles are attached and how gravity affects them, it is easy to see this sort of mistakes. Here is some reference:

Thanks a lot for your feedback. It was very helpful. I'll make sure I won't such mistakes in future.

Looking really great!
I think chest and abdominal muscles could have some more space between them in the center. Also where the chest muscle connects to the arm, it could have some fat under it.
