WIP - 3ds Max 2013 / V-Ray 2

I am trying to get to grips with V-Ray. I have had it for a week now and I have watched the Lynda.com Essential Training. I have been using this simple clock model I made in 3ds Max to come to grips with V-Ray lighting, materials and rendering.

I would appreciate a more experienced user's input / guidance / crit.

Many thanks

not bad for first time. there is a lot of noise at the moment. i also recommend you to go to digital tutors. they have really nice tutorials.

Thanks Irafanil

I'll work on reducing the noise in the render. And download some of the tuts from Digital Tutor.

Hope to post an update or two soon.

Update

I've fiddled around more with V-Ray and am getting the hang of it. Here's another render. I did find it quite expensive time-wise to get rid of most of the noise (took about one and a half hours to render this).
