Skyscrapers

This was a very quick render of some skyscrapers I made in 3ds Max and textured in Photoshop. It's not a major project, and I'm still new to modeling, but how does it look?

It seems like you have all the major fundamental modelling techniques down pat.
I would recommend using the same project to learn some more about texturing and lighting though, even if you have the best model ever it's going to be let down if everything else needs work.

Some light critique:
-Using only one or two textures for a whole scene can make it quite bland. Maybe look into UV Mapping or Multi-Sub Object Materials to make the textures on the building more varied.
-The way it's lit makes everything the viewer is facing dark, and everything in the background light. This is great if you want silhouettes, but otherwise it's just going to blank out all the details. Maybe try some more varied angles for the lighting to add atmosphere, like from the side or from an angle.

Well I wouldn't go that far. The models looks simple, but there is definitely more that can be done with them.

What are your goals for this project? Are you trying to focus exclusively on modelling?

The main focus was on modeling something quickly but that looks good. I've only had a 3D introduction class, so it's meant to be a simple, low-poly project. The lighting and Photoshop textures else were set up very quickly.
