The space between the eyes seems to be too big.

Do you want to create only his head ? or you are going to make a bust/full body ?

im sorry to say this but your wireframe is quite wrong.
imho it would be best to completely redo it while youre in early stage

here is a example of a proper looking wirefreame for human face

Yea, your wire frame is not ideal. You really do need to start over, and focus more on your edge flow.

Using the above image as reference would be a great place to start.

Not to start a edge flow war but, even the above image isnt 100% correct. the whole idea of edge loops is create a definable shape to come back to while animating. namely a circle... the shape around this guys mouth while nicely done should go all the way around and the smile line from the nose should go around the mouth like this:

Thank you for you replies. It is a great help.. I made a new. What do you think of this one.

Edge flow is looking way better, however you should present the wireframe not in a front view pose only. Give us a 3/4 view for example, so we can see the depth of your model. Keep it up..

He will have a helmet on, so you will not see the ears.

One of the problems I notice right away concerns the edge flow from the nostrils. The way the underlying muscles and fat in your cheeks work, it creates a crease from the edge of your nostril around your mouth, and then curving around to your chin. Making this loop is very important for most facial expressions to look right. I drew over your screen shot with red lines where I would remove edges, and blue lines for how I would start trying to re-work the edge loops. Hope this is somewhat helpful...
