Barley- Grass Fairy
This is a concept I have been working on. She is a grass fairy, I wanted her wings to work as camouflage. Please let me know what you think of her design and the base body model. I am not 100% about the clothing, I might go for a spider web material

No, she is not supposed to be evil. I am attempting mischievous. I will move some vertices around and see if I can make her look nicer

partly because of the sharp chin in the side view, the large head as a whole and the skinny body. And there is something about her breasts aswell, they might be a bit more juvenile.

I don't think she looks evil. But it would be easier to judge if some textures or material was applied, the dark grey doesn't help.

Barley update
So I named her Barley and made her wings barley like instead of random grass and flower. She is not finished yet but here is an update. I noticed the holes in the grain and her skin is not finished mostly her face it is too smooth and needs sculpting and more variation in color. Her hair does not quite live up to what I am wanting and will try creating hair in either zbrush or maya to see if I can do better.

Nice work so far!
The blades on barley are a bit longer and sharper. Although its different, it looks almost identical to wheat. I don't think most people will notice, but I live out in farm country in Indiana. ![]() Did you use the Maya hair system for the hair? -AJ __________________

Thank you, I will make the blades longer and sharper. I used geometry hair and a texture with an alpha channel. The texture needs work though
