Adventure time - Finn

Hi!
Been a wile since i post something here!

So here is my latest work in progress.

Its another perspective from Finn from the cartoons Adventure Time

mm not sure about your fold flow.. have you a reference photo on that pose?

You're right, i need to work the flows.

I did some changes but im not sure if i'm ok with it...
Still some tweeks to do. Also one boot and the backpack have zero detail on it.

But do you use a ref photos for you folds?

is it a regular hoodie or a assassin creed like? Because if it's a regular you have to many folds.

My advice would be to take a picture of you with the gear and try to match.

I used some refs but didnt stick to one in particular.

More detail on the cloth and a more chubby face.

Next stop, detailing legs.

The facial anatomy needs alot of attention. It's very lumpy in places and the underlying forms/bone structure is inaccurate. The eye socket/eyelids, mouth, brow are good places to start.

For me, you just skip too soon to high subdivisions.

Your boots have not a good block shape, You did too many details just to see the end result, but The general appearence don't match.

Try to block shape. Now, It's like a lowpoly mesh with highres textures on it.

Yeah, still got a lot to learn.

Finn's Sword. Didn't gave much attention to the handler as it will be hidden.

Made a pause in the texturing and start modelin g Jake, Finn's friend.

Jake's theory of evolution. The first one was the base mesh don ein max, and the others are the same mesh but tweeked in zbrush.
