I finished lowpoly model, made for her spec map, gloss map, diff map and normal map.
now it's time to start making Globemaster III (I can't wait any more )

I'll be back to this model (tank) after Globemaster and some characters. I want later to put soldiers on the tank, add low-poly machineguns, some cans, armorboxes, big amount different staff, like in real life. and possibly finalize the texture by adding some skulpturing in normal map.
But this current model is ready for place into Globemaster.
The next model I will do my best, to make better than this one.
If somebody have anything usefull about Globemaster I'll be glad your help (akonzelko@yahoo.com) I will place your name in the plane's diff map

Nice progress!
The last render's light setup a little bit wierd for me with that bluish color...

Here are some references for a C-17A Globemaster III: Link

Keep up the good work!

I have started to work , I am particularly interested in references of landing gear and interior. need to understand how works moving parts for proper modeling and rigging

Yes, it is very difficult to find good references for proper landing gear rig. I am still looking for one for my An-225 after two years since my first attempt on it . but here is a nice work on Globemaster III done on http://precise3dmodeling.com/. I hope that helps a bit.

Here are some photo links on interior and landing gear:

I am sure you can find more nice photos at airliners.net or jetphotos.net. I am just too lazy to go through tons of them at this time.

Hey I think I just saw your Abrams model on precise3dmodeling.com. Very nice to see it there. I love that website. Can you post some wireframes of you low poly model? I am very curious on how much it was reduced from the original.
