Mech Master

This piece is entitled "Mech Master"

The piece was created using Maya, Mental Ray, Mudbox, Photoshop, and Nuke. I was responsible for the texturing, shading, lighting, and the compositing on this piece.

This piece was modeled and sculpted by Arda Koyuncu using Maya and Zbrush.

I've also used a custom Meta-SL node in this piece written by my good friend and former mentor Will Anielewicz. This node could be used not only for occlusion, but also as a shadow catcher and as negated occlusion which I used heavily in my procedural networks.

Any and all feedback would be much appreciated.

Looks great, the textures are really good. The DOF seems incorrect though.

Skin shader & texture can be much improve. The skin is too waxy at the moment. The darker colors at the winkled area are very unnatural.

The glasses is not very convincing, as there is nothing holding it in place. Yes, this is a CG work, but believability comes when physical are logical.

The pose, if there is one, is actually quite boring. Looks like plug straight from the work in progress pose. Maybe give him a simple expression or something.

Thanks for your feedback everyone! I am starting to make some of the suggested changes now.

About the posing... I'm not sure what to do about that since it is not my model and their is no rig. But I will look into it.
