Bedroom (interior with vray)

I am working on the lighting interior scene with vray.
I really need help and critique about material, lighting and textures.

thanks.

My concern is the background image.. evening or daytime.. same image

do you use sharp shadows?

The curtain shadows must but less opaque

Getting there.

Some thought from me might be that..

The background image needs to be replaced.
Wood drawers next to the bed are extremely reflective. Tone that done a bit.
The main thing is that the composition is weak and the elements in the room create a bunch of squares. There really needs to be curves, levels and a stronger composition. What's your focal point? How can you make the viewer jump between focal points and not get lost or bored?

The comp looks better than before.

I would say that the desk lights look way to bright compared to the sun.

I think your windows would violate building code. Normaly theres a 5-6 cm ledge even on floor to ceiling windows. It looks a bit odd how the window goes right into the floor.
