Reclamation - Need help with concept
I'm having trouble deciding on how to execute the concept of my next peace so I am asking for some ideas/opinions. Below are sketches and details.
Name - Reclamation
Sub Name/quote - Upon the close of combat, I am called to collect the dead
This peace will be a character concept of an Earth-type god, Or gia etc.
The scene will be her collecting the perished to return there energy/souls/matter etc back to the pool of creation in which the came.
A long, thin but strong looking physic that extrudes from the ground like a tree with her legs
wrapped in vines/Ivy.
Wearing a semi transparent white(maybe) cloth over her shoulders, arms and head.
Concealing her face and perhaps only showing her mouth (smiling?)
From out of her back are two arched spindly tree like growths that form an incomplete circle.
(maybe with small amount of leaves, or cherry blossoms ?)
And to connect the character to those around her. My idea is red silk ribbons streaming from the bodies and into her open heart. (open to other suggestions here aswell)
Okay so that's the main character and theme. My question is Where, and who ?
Who are the people that have died ? what kind of time do they live in. what kind of combat did they die in .
I really want to avoid going full fantasy because I want my main character to have some contrast to the world around her.
Where did this happen ? The colour pallet of the character will most probably be Skin tone, grey/white fabric, browns and greens. She is a god/entity after all so Im thinking of placing this somewhere that those things don't belong. Maybe if she is protruding from out of desert sand or something similar. Also keeping in mind that Who and Where need to make sense together, we cant have business men on a 1400's sailing boat haha
So if anyone has ideas please post/sketch them up !
