The Making of Super Model

Background : I am starting a new project for a fashion company. The project is a bout a clothing model showing a new collection, and I want it to be as real as I can just like those models in fashion magazine cover pages.

Modelling : I decided not to reinvent the wheels, by using some free base models and remodeling it as desired.

Software: 3ds max, Vray, Zbrush.

Please CGsociety People, keep you critical eyes on my scene. Thanks

everything seems perfect just her hands, they could be posed better; specially her right hand.

keyan3d, and fluidfxtd thank you very much for the note about the right hand.

I change it to give more reality, and covered her with a new shirt. Wishing to have more critiques!

I've ended the clothing texturing , and now the hard work with skin is started.

Looks nice so far! One thing I noticed is that since adding the top to the character, it has significantly changed her silhouette on the right hand side (of the image). This has detracted from the feminine curves expected from a model, and created a smoother gradient which is less flattering. It is probably a more realistic look, but I guess it depends on what you are going for.

Scote, your notice really important to me, I think that I will use some real texture instead of the procedural material I've used on her boots. Thanks

The shaders for the sofa looks great! High quality modeling on the environment.

Only critics are the silk/valet window are very distracting. Takes too much attention away from the model, not to mention overkill of magenta color.

I am also guessing the texture for the floor is only temporarily, as it looks like flat reflective mud at the moment.

Good progress so far. The only thing that bothers me is her top. It is making her boobs look too low, or her belly look big. Models are not usually boob monsters as far as I know. It might just be down to the view we have of the scene, some more angles might help make my mind up for sure.

Hello Fkd and Dillster, Thanks for the critiques, it was a great help for ma.

I decided to re concentrate on the model more then the environment, Fkd.

Yes the model need to be re-sculpted, Dillster.

Here I started texturing and shading my model face. It is just a draft for me now, I really need comments about the shader.

I used Vray sss2.

Her chin looks just a little too pointed for my liking, has a kind of greys alien look to her.
