I saw that you mentioned that in an earlier post, but it's quite hard to believe- I was looking at some of the most recent adds to the gallery and your work most definitely belongs in there...

yes somehow it make me feel like i am getting singled out ..
i agree that some work are way ahead and look 1000 x better than mine ..
but some work in the gallery .. even posted after i submitted mine .. are not up to the standard i seem to be hold up to . :-(

cool work, i always enjoy looking at your renderings. you've got a really unique feel and style to your work.

don't worry too much about the gallery thing, it has happened to me and several others I know. nothing you can do about it, just keep on cranking out cool work

what are you using these days for your rendering? are you still using octane a lot?

actually not at all anymore..
i did also use a good deal of bunkspeed
and while i really do enjoy the speed and quality of those render ,..
now i day, i tend to care more about the workflow.. and being able to do everything in maya

to answer your question ,

vray :-)
and if only autodesk would get their finger out of their butt .. i would love to render with iray in maya

hope to be starting on the texturing in mudbox soon

Love your Red Star 47 series. This is much more appealing to me than the typical 3D images posted here. Great composition, design and concept. I can tell that a lot of thought goes into your work and that you are not just satisfied with putting out "pretty pictures". Keep it up.

since i am pretty sure that my gallery submission would be decline .. ( as all of my latest work )
i guess i just post it here ...

trying to capture the essence of the mid 80's
not really pushing for photo realism , but more for a certain illustrative ""flair ""
