CG-47 Ticonderoga

Hello all!
I started a model of USN CG-47 Ticonderoga destroyer.

Unfortunately there are not so many photos of the first built vessel of that type. I couldn't find details about antennas placement on top of the mast.

Try I did a quick search in still images for "CG-47" and found some photos of the masts circa 1983. is useful as well, but they do not have as much historical photos.

I don't think so. Your model has great detail.
I think it's not so matter the model itself. The realistic materails and env are much more important. Still I don't know how to model realistic sea surface at all. Foam, wawes, SS Scattering etc - it's a big question for me.

Let's continue:

Added life rafts, ladders, antennas etc.

Many elements are low-poly. If my computer doesn't die in the end, I'll be able to add some tesselation later.
