Getting better with each update. Perhaps its time you can think about making a full figure ( & then a full figure with clothes)?

yea I think you are right just that I`am not sure if I should do that right now or that I should get every part to look right on there own first , you know like study arms alone torso alone , bust , legs , .... like what am doing now

if I did model a full figure will that be more useful ? would love to hear your thoughts though

I think it depends on your objective. From my own experience, I think a lot of things look goods & right on their own, but once put together, they started to feel a little wrong.

Its a little bit like from 2D drawing to 3D. I have drawn a thousand human faces, how hard can it be. But when I started to create my first model, it wasn't as easy as it seems. Making the face looks right on a single view is no problem, once I turn the face, it looks odd again.

Anyway whats is stopping you from make a full model, then start detailing each focus area. That's my though anyway.

In my opinion, in order,
1) First, get the proportion right, e.g is the head too big for the body, is the leg too long?
2) Then shape. e.g Is your eye more like an almond than an oval, IS the lips the right shape
3) Only then you go into detail

I think a lot of people jump straight to high level detailing, & hence sometimes, you see high detailed good quality models, but with suspicious proportion & shape.

Coincidentally, this follow the workflow from starting a low poly level & gradually go to higher res. This is the workflow I follow, but I am not the best artist here, but I think this work best for most people, especially learner.

But I think you have the talent to go pretty far, looking at your work. The last model is really good. Keep it up.

This is all great work. The wide scope of it shows you can tackle a wide range of characters both real and cartoon.

sorry for the late reply.

I haven't been here for a while and I'm always excited to see folks from old time. Unfortunately I'm visual memory guy. I remember ppl's avatar rather than their names. I vaguely remember your forum name but it's a different avatar so I asked to confirm.
