Looks great! Does it need a skybox?

Hey Kanga!

How observant of you! hehehe
Yep, a Skybox with the sun & moon, and maybe an extra planet or two is definitely on the list!
& I love sunset skyboxes too! They are so much more fun! You get the best of both night and day with all these extra glints and glimmers of the sunset's silver lining on far off planets and sprawling clouds. A true scifi sunset =)

At this point I am down to finishing:
- Skybox
- Vines
- Asian Paper Lantern
- Center Piece
- Climactic moment of all mayhem breaking lose
- Last SetUp of Enemy AI
- and my Gun's magical soulfire

Thats not much at all! lol
Thanks for the post bro!
- Bergquist

PS I still remember the WIP thread for your WitchHunter there
Good times, good times =)

That moving platform is awesome. Perfect to scape from enemies and back from behind.

Ello CGS World!!

Today I uploaded my first playable game demo!
Check it out! ~ Bergquist Game Entry ~

Hey Etsu,
Thank you bro!
That was the plan I wanted to be able to kill the dogs coming down the hallway like shooting down targets at the fair as they fly across...
but alas, there are no hunting dogs racing down the hallway to eat you, but its still a cool thought, hehe

Looks pretty good.
Cut off the back end of your sound loop and stick it on the front (on a new track) and fade that into the main track. That way you will get a perfect loop without any pops or cracks.
The armed guards didn't do anything when I bumped up against them.
There are no keyboard instructions you can place them on a layer if you want.
There is no esc yet I think. In any case it didn't work for me.
It is not clear what the objective is. Why not put it on a wall in the game for players to read?

Hope this helps.
Cheerio

Hey Kanga!

I'm not really sure about the sound loop.
All three of my sounds are perfect loops outside of Unity,
but the less frames per second i get the more the audio doesn't load quite right, and starts popping like that and skipping a little here and there.
Which one in particular did you hear it on?

It seems like you weren't able to take the Soul in the Tree to hear the last battle song?
Thats how things get started. The blue fire is the weapons pick up.
It goes all wrong at first and instead of giving you the power it unleashes it and awakens the guardians. Then it turns into the real weapons pick up.

I'll have to do a little inspiring so the player knows whats going on
Thank you for the feedback! That is uber helpful!

OK. I played.. Very good, and the music is very intense. Everything seems to work perfect. I suppose the enemy can't attack you because is a the demo, right?

Hey bro,
The more I'm able to get done so far today the worse that "demo" looks, hehe
I've fixed several issues with general combat including the enemy not attacking, and have even been able to add a couple features like my gun's soul fire and the enemy's disappearance during the death animation.
Sorry Etsu, its doesn't look like there will be any Hunting Dogs this time
but hopefully it will still be wicked fun in the end!
Cheers bro!

Nice.

Can we get to see that sky in the game? That would be too much.

Hello CGS World!

This is very good news. A new full game by Bergquist.

I hope this time we have a good story, full of great characters and drama. Or maybe you're only interested in creating a believable scenario, I don't know. But for me the most important thing is the content, not the forms, so if you can make your world a place worth visiting, with interesting people and events waiting for you, much better. At least for me.

I'll be watching the progress of this project.

Cheers.
