Red Stag, Fabricio Moraes (3D)

Title: Red Stag

Late last year I co-founded a company called Gingerpic with my former boss and former team mate at Seagulls Fly. This is one of our recent work made for a bourbon brand. I made the entire 3D and it was retouched in Photoshop by Fabiano Feijo.

I really love the style of this! The only thing I'm not keen on is the fade at the bottom... I'm not sure how well it would work but I think it could look good if there was a sharper cut that followed the shape of the fur.

Speaking of the fur, how did you do it?

Great job.

Hi, thank you for the repply.
The brief was to make this deer with this specific red color and with the fade at the bottom.
The final image was croped, but I prefered to show the full image.

The fur was a standard 3D Max hair and fur rendered with scanline.
