...and that's how all poses I got assembled together look like atm:

There's some repetition oh horses' hind legs, and all the human heads are on the same level - If you changed the body proportions for each pose, make some of them taller, fatter, leaner, it would help.

Thanks for advice mate, much appreciated. Agreed, but I intend to do it only after texturing- otherwise I'd have to texture each model from the very begining and I am not THAT crazy. This is just very first assembly test, to see if it all makes sense.

Just some progress.

and next day (night actually)

Yet another assembly test.

This looks very believable/natural . Great job on the modeling.

You painted horse texture in photoshop, didn't you? I would probably change human boots material to a litte bit less glossy

You are very kind guys (personally I think those still need some sculpt), thank you for comments. Textures... actually color maps are painted directly in Blender (texture paint mode). More precise b&w maps, used to separate various materials, are created in Corel. Here are all textures used so far- as you can see they are not really complicated. What is going to appear are some variations of horse colors and bump maps for clothing (not too much of it, really).

Skeletons for all poses frozen- time to start working with sculpt to correct mistakes and build up a regiment. Anyway- that's how sample looks like

Pelisse added.

I was watching it almost from the beginning, I must say that some parts are really impressing. I like stylized look and horse modeling. The idea is quite epic for a one person. I keep fingers crossed!

Flag of the regiment. I used pictures of flags from

to build my own.

... and here it is with bannerman
