GuillaumeV: Armed and Dangerous

Hi everyone!

Cool challenge!
I'll be doing this concept that was done by friends of mine which I would like to thank, Fred Augis & Chrinchrin.



My concepting skills are horrible, so their idea was greatly appreciated!
Lots of details to be figured out, this is going to be great fun!

@Ibelerique: Nope not a cyborg, human. I might have her starting to take that mask of for the pose if I can find a way to make it work in an interesting way.

Finally rendered a work in progress image! A lot more to do (slight proportions adjustments, details all over the place to add, etc.).

Nice update !
I'd say that the knee pad/armor are really BIIIIIG compare to the design, and it make a strange contrast to the slim silouhette of the overal character, I would scale them down and make them less wide
Keep it up !

Hello VinceTech, thanks for your reply! I'll see what I can do about that knee pad area. Reducing it is rapidly problematic has it starts to peneterate with the other parts but I'll see if I can figure something out to make it work.

Yeah nice beginnig !
I agree with VinceTech, and I think that you could scale up the foot. They look like scale on the Y axe !
It will balance with the knee pad/armor size !

Hey guys,

Time for an update. Character posed and modeled. There are still some details that I don't like but I'll see if I have time to fix them. Now it's time to continue on the texturing work and detailing!
One short week left, good luck everyone!

Hi Man. Really great job.
Which version of mudbox you used ? Can you please show some more snapshots.
How did you manage the antialising on the render of the last image ? It's so clean and sharp. How did you did it ?
