oglu: thanks, yea more to sculpt and paint ...


update: made uv's and now i'll begin to texture her assets. make some changes to her paintings and skin. and so on ...

i decided to go for 2k-sized textures. hope this is no overload.



one asset still missing, will do it later

Really clean and neat uvs ! Do you know already the kind of fabric and color scheme you are going to use ?

oglu: i don't know, a lot

VinceTech: only know, she'll be dirty, but the rest, the overpaint i posted before, that direction.

process: began the painting process. a lot of back and forth. but finding the right solution for me, painting all the textures. at the same time trying to tweak the shader. not that easy.





the mesh is still clean, haven't sculpted any bumps and big scratches.

that's the last update before next week. c&C welcome

Awesome scratches, especialy on the left hand side. Are you going to do a reflection mask for them? Looking forward to the rest of the texture work.

The texturing looks awesome. How do you do it? stencils?

Also by any chance do you know how to move the lights around so that i can preview the model in different lighting conditions? i try rotate it, but it doesnt do anything.

Anyways i hope the rest of the texturing is as high quality as the shoulders.

Vincetech: thank you. The idea with the cuttings by the saber NICE. This will be challenging.

fantasymaster: thanks man. I have a reflection mask already, generated out of the scratches. But the shader needs more tweaking.

gyarados: thanks. I used stamps and worked with masks in mudbox. I layered the metal and masked away the color were I wanted to have scratches .
In the lights tab you can choose different light types, and while holding L and left-mouseB and mocking around you should be able to rotate the light. Hope this helpls.

Cruzaficks: thanks man, feelin honored .

progress: started posing the character and sculpting the masses, although in the end it will be covered with cloth

mudbox-screen-grab:


finished texturing the shirt. doing already the hood. playing with the camera.
nothing done on the overall lighting of the scene.

the metal of the armor isn't finished yet, but i need to make all other textures first and than start refining everything.



c&c welcome. btw tweaked the painting of her face, but they need some more.
