We are currently looking for a “rock star” 3D artist who is excited to grow and excel with our rapidly expanding team. You are passionate about beautiful design that is rooted in strategy, telling meaningful stories, and always looking for creative design solutions. You will have a minimum of 1 year experience curating leading concepts.
You'll collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders throughout the entire lifecycle of the project. To succeed, you must be willing to think outside the box, willing to share your talents and motivated to create strategically impactful renders. You relish at the opportunity to mentor 3D artists to grow them to their full potential.
Job Description/ Duties:
Lead By Example: Create concepts, models, textures and other benchmark assets
Problem Solving: Solve visual and art pipeline issues in collaboration with artists, designers and engineers
Be Goal Oriented: Lead art team towards producing high quality content that enhances gameplay
Visual Art Wizardry: Craft, direct and supervise the creation of AAA quality FMVs, in-game cut scenes and camera motions
People Person: Be a positive influence to art team morale and maintain a productive work dynamic with the team
Time Manager: Supervise general art production and deliverables
Be sensitive to product goals and business needs
Produce marketing quality renders and screenshots for print and digital
Produce marketing quality animations and video productions for web and television
Is customer service focused, and able to accept feedback from multiple key stakeholders
Produced realistic renders of characters and/or environments
Job Skills Required:
Advanced knowledge of Autodesk 3Ds Max and Vray engine.
Advanced knowledge of Autodesk 3Ds Max and Houdini.
Understanding of AutoCAD/Sketchup software.
Understanding of environment lighting and rendering techniques
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs, Esp. Photoshop
Create 3D models and textures from concept art and design specifications
Modify and re-texture existing assets or existing un-textured models
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
A self-starter, organized and efficient
Able to work under pressure and communicate effectively with all team members
Architectural background and experience in the field of architectural visualization
An eye for quality and details
Very good skills in 3D modeling and texturing
Understanding the workflow between 3D Modeling Software and Unreal Engine
Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
English language skills at Canadian Language Benchmark level 5 or higher.
Enthusiasm for Virtual Reality
Rigging/animation experience (character models and/or props)
Proficient in video editing programs
Knowledge of UNREAL 4 engine
Full time, permanent: 35 hours per week
