Unofficial CGTalk meetup

I guess this got lost in the other car thread. Anyway, anyone for another unofficial get together? One point though, there is no materials pickup on Saturday, so I guess Sunday is best (no Electronic Theatre till Monday)?

Last time in LA it as at one of the restaurants of the Westin Bonaventure if memory serves me right, and we were treated great. We can do it again there. We could also try Point Moorea (a tiki bar) at the Wilshire Grand.

Speak up! And don't let me drink alone!

The Westin is perfect in my opinion.

The question is when is a good day to do this....

I think the same place as we had it in LA last time, the bar at the Westin was brilliant. Before it gets too late, let's get that plot reserved. Sunday 6:30pm onwards.

FYI, since the last siggraph in LA, they built a whole new area right around the Convention Center/Staples center called LA Live, which is like 30 new restaurants and movie theaters. There are lots of places near there to have little meetups.

Just throwing that out there.

I'll see you there later that night, can't miss the Fast Forward Papers Preview (6-8pm).

Question, is someone going to call this place and get some sort of reservation or heads up? From this threaf and the FB page I'm guessing between 20-30 people might show up.
