Can't wait to hear about FLIP in particular. For those clueless like me. Here's about Cooper's Design Space:

Also there's the SIGGRAPH Reception Wednesday 8-10pm.

Autodesk party

I heard rumor that the Autodesk party may be on Monday night? Not sure yet. That's usually a big one.

Is this it for the list of parties? I thought by now there would be all the details and signups. Or maybe I'm missing a thread?

yep that's about it, even though more people are expected this year it seems almost not extra-curricular activities.

Just add a couple not mentioned here:

And let's see if there's going to be a Chapters party. They haven't updated their website but usually you can get the details easily at SIGGRAPH.

Ah ok, yikes. Things definitely seem to be getting tighter. Noticed some of the big companies aren't even having their usual booths this year either.

Thanks Malducin!

Thanks Malducin!

Yeah I was trying to get started an unofficial CGTalk party but apparently nobody is interested. I guess time to check out Point Moorea with my partner in crime.

The Foundry is hosting a party at The Mayan Monday evening.

Details here.

As for the Blur Party, Eyeon mentioned a few logistical details in a recent Fusion newsletter, probably on their site or in an RSS feed, but it won't get you any closer to finding an invite.
