Wink colonial ship

I did this one few weeks ago
tried new approach and I'am quite pleased with it

Pretty neat concept. I wonder though if the colors are to similar. Everything feels like its make of the same material. Maybe adding a few more colors might be interesting.

Now that you mention it I can definitely see the influence of Wall e. I also think that the fog is washing the colors out a bit, which is muting the colors that you do have in there. But again, nice work.

Other than the colors being almost monochromatic, there's also the problem of the values being so similar too, so that the ship blends right into the background and has very low readability in the composition. Usually, we only do that when we want to camouflage something so that we can hide it in plain sight, but that's not your intention here. So at the very least, vary the overall value between the ship and the background, so that the ship as a silhouette shape is more readable. Varying its color a bit would help a lot too. Even a very subtle change in hue/saturation along with value will make it a lot more readable.
