This will be the cover art of a new album I am releasing with this DJ dude in Romania. It features him, me, and a guy named Awesome.
The goal here was to create a naturalistic feel of a future city. I know the perspective is a little crooked, but it's too late for that now. It's not finished, of course. I want to create a more realistic feel to it, but still keep some of the sketch lines.
Thoughts of how to improve it ?

It's never too late to fix anything, especially with digital art, because you can make changes so easy compared to analog art. Tranform tools, Liquify, layers--they can do so much so quickly. There is saying that goes, "Never leave anything in your artwork that you already know is wrong and should be corrected."
The cityscape looks confusing, without proper sense of form and volume or scale. The composition is also not effective because there's no actual arrangement of tonal values in your composition--it's just a jumble of light and dark.
The surface properties are all the same, without any differentiation between different surface types (texture, specularity). There's also a lot of smudge-a-titus syndrome in the image, where you are using lots of soft brushes and smudging that leaves behind all these unsightly smudge marks that don't actually contribute to the description of the surface properties, and only confuse the way the form and volume reads.
The lighting is also vague and lacks consistency or artistic focus. You have a large greenish light source, yet we see no influence from it on the scene. It should be be lighting up your scene with its green light--especially the the structure across from it.
There is a lot of basic visual art foundation knowledge/insights that you lack. If you are serious about your artistic development, you need to slow down and work on studying and practicing all the critical foundations of visual art (composition, perspective, lighting/values, color theory, anatom/figure, etc).
