Where do i stand?

I painted some pictures and each time I learned something.
I try hard to get better, but I always find something I want to do better next time.
Now I'm wondering where do i stand?
Am I good enough to work as an illustrator or concept artist - should i inquire at companys?
What are my weak points?
Do i have to be more known or do i have to get even better first?
What can I do better in general?
Maybe someone could help me and provide constructive criticism

You're still quite a ways from achieving the level of proficiency required by the very competitive and demanding field of concept art or illustration.

The main issue with your body of works is that you don't have a strong foundation as a visual artist, and your focus on dragons makes you seem like a one-trick pony. You need to master all the foundations of visual art such as composition, lighting/values, color theory, anatomy/figure, and so on, and one look at your website and it's obvious you are still a beginner in when it comes to a lot of those foundations.

To be a concept artist is even more demanding than illustration, because you have to be a great designer on top of being a great artist. You need to understand the various design philosophies in the context of different subject matters such as architecture, biology (creature design), geography (designing environments), interior design, fashion design, vehicle design, weapon design, high-tech gadgets design, and so on. You have to learn things like form versus function, ergonomics, engineering, manufacturing, and so on, so that whatever you design actually looks credible, instead of a bunch of ignorant nonsense.

My advice is to start working hard on your foundations as a visual artist, while studying concept design in conjunction. You should read the sticky threads in the Art T&T forum (linked below in my signature) to get started.
