Hey everybody. I've finished this sketch in graphite and was looking to take it into the digital realm. Before I do that I wanted to iron out the composition and proportions of the character, so any critiques on detailing and or positioning would be highly appreciated.

My idea for this scene is the beastman ascending a snowy ridge in the midst of quite a blizzard, with mist forming around his mouth to really give a sense of this large heavy breathing beast. Although the piece is oriented as a portrait, I feel like a wider landscape would better suit it? I'll mock up some different background compositions to see what works in any case. In terms of colors, I expect that to contrast with the faded blues and greens of a snow scene i'll need to emphasize the bronzes on his armor and the brown of his skin. However, any additional ideas for color schemes are welcome.

Thanks all!

It's looking pretty good. Let's see some composition thumbnails for the whole scene.
