Drawing advice/feedback

Hello,

first let me say I apologize if I end up posting this twice but it is not showing up since I posted yesterday.

I am posting here to get some feedback on some of my recent drawings and perhaps some insight into where I am at skill level wise and some things I should focus on. I'd also truely love to hear some routine type practice I can do to improve as an artist. Often times when I want to practice I do not know what to do and waste time valuable figuring it out(I'm 22 and have a 2 year old daughter so I must use my time wisely). Again I draw not only because I enjoy it but also to become a successful 3d modeler, for this is my goal.

Here are some of my recent drawings, they are all from life. my art school really stresses that, I was also advised to draw from life by my favorite concept artist, Daarken. any feedback on the drawings and what I can be doing to keep improving would be very much appreciated.

i struggle with the refinement process of drawing and much of my work appears very gestural. i love using charcoal but i find it difficult to control once i start trying to add details. I also find it very difficult to control subtle shifts in value

I also put together a sample portfolio to get feedback from Gnomon on that includes some of my 3d work. i'd love for anyone interested to message me feedback on those as well
