Moving lights forming a face

Hello! I'm a total beginner and I would like you guys how would you solve this. It would probably sound silly, so I apologize myself in adavance.:

I'm making an animation in Nuke where, in outer space, we see stars moving to draw a face. I made the outer space combining noise and still pictures with 3D geometry and that was OK.

My plan was to use a .obj of a face and slide there some lights and later removing the obj or turning down its opacity. This was impossible. Furthermore, I don't know the best way to create convincing stars that shine... I tried lights (where can I reflect them to in outer Space...?), flares... nothing that looks really great.

I know that Nuke it's not the best software but this kind of work, but it has to be done with it.

Excuse me for getting this down questions's level and I apologize for my far from perfect English too. It would be great if anybody could give me any idea. Thanks in advance.
