Cool Masters degree in UK

After looking through the forum I could only find threads either unanswered, or suggesting Bournemouth, Teeside, Herts or Escape Studios. I understand they are the best places to study (also expensive, not just to attend, but to move to!) So this is why I'm posting a new one.

I was wondering if anyone had experiences or advice regarding other universities? Is there any point considering other universities? Or any alternatives?
For example, the Advanced Special Effects course at Bradford Uni was recommended to me because of the motion capture studio (something I'm quite interested in) and how close it is...yet I've seen nothing about the course on these threads?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated by a confused graduate!

im not expert so please take my response with a grain of salt. it all depends what you would like to get into. what industry? would you like to be a 3d generalist or specialise in a certain area? i have just been accepted in bournemouth for their digital effects MA (depending if i get the required grade from my undergrad) and for me this masters is perfect as i want to try and get into the industry as a effects td or compositor.

I also applied to kent for their visual effects MA but after being accepted into bournemouth i declined them on the simple fact that bournemouth graduates seem to generally find good jobs after graduating, where as i know kent graduates struggle. also by looking at bournemouths youtube channel their digital effects work is generally far superior than anything else ive seen in the UK.

also an MA isn't 'worth' much in CG if you can't animate/draw/model/light/code/whatever... It's the one field where skills > diploma
