Looking for a school: recommendations?
I'm looking for a new career path and am looking for recommendations on a school.
I'm interested in 3D sub-D Modeling (looking at maybe doing environments in the future).
A friend of mine recommended the Art Institute as that is where he attended. However, looking through some online reviews warranted some rethinking.
I've done some mesh building in blender, but I'm looking to start from step one (as a beginner).
What I'm looking for:
-great financial aid or loan process (I'm not a high school student, so I'm on my own).
-dedicated and knowledgeable staff
-strong alumni base and after graduation career aid
-lots of learning
Anybody have any recommendations?

I am currently a DAVE school student and I am absolutely loving it - It fits everything you need and so much more.
I had no 3d background and in the link below, look what I did in just a few weeks. Also, check out the video on DAVE website about career choices and the help you get from them as a student.
The school is off the hook awesome!

Lost Boys - School of VFX
I would happily recommend Lost Boys - School of Visual Effects (VFX). We are a dedicated VFX school, with a very high placement rate and intensive curriculum. Check out our site http://lostboys-studios.com/ and feel free to message me with any specific questions you may have. I would be more than happy to answer any questions or put you in touch with any of our graduates so you can hear straight from them.
All the nest in your search.
