Question Hopeful Concept Designer

I'm currently a Junior in High School I want to be a Concept Designer, and I've decided not going to a trade school because it would be too much money. My plan is to go to San Francisco State University, get a Bachelors of Art with a concentration in Studio Art, and I might minor in Psychology. With this, I'll be able to solely focus on Art through college and be able to develop my skills while I run around looking for opportunities.

My question is, does this seem like an okay path where I can focus greatly on my art?
I'm incredibly devoted and passionate and art is practically the only thing I really really know how to do. I just want to know if my pathway is a good path to hone on my skills.
