So the super move can be some type of combo instead of just a single kick or punch type move?

absolutely its all up to you.

This might be a silly question, but when you say "no textures", does that mean that the character itself can't have any textures, or just that no other textures can be used for the special effects?

my supermoove

Just quickly did up my supermoove, I only spent a short while on it and I might refine the arcs if I get time, just thought I would post it now anyways. - thanks

sounds like a fun challenge. I cannot wait to see some crazy submissions.

IF I had time to complete this one I would definately use JoJo's as reference...that was a fun and wacky game!

peace and good luck.

Hmmm... I need to find a decent rig and do this one. No time to set one up myself.

Like Dabehu said; Does it have to be 3D? I know that it's in the 2D/3D forum but still. Your explanation sounds more like 3D only.

If someone wants to do a 2D animation, what is the rules to do one of those? Minimum framerate? Does it have to be a 'pixel'animation? And lastly, it has to be decent colored huh?

well i'm not going to join, because i am no animator but whats the framerate you guys are using for this challenge? I mean 200 fps at 25fps is a difference to 200frames at 30fps

Like Neox said: Ok 200 frames, good, but,
How many frame per second ?
12, 24, 25, 30 or 60 ? (60 is the framerate of arcade games, but this doesn't mean that the 2D animations frame by frame is at this rate...)
