My Demo Reel - 3Ds Max - Scott Newhan

Here is some animations I have done. I am working on a new series with my brother that will be out soon. I will post the first of the series "Vacant Planet Hole 1" today. In the mean time please have a look at my demo reel.

Hi Scott!
Your demo reel starts out strong and interesting and then kinda dies at the end, so i suggest getting rid of the last 3 shots.
-the walk looks odd and there are a few pops in it.
-the run is WAY too fast, it might work in the context of your series but in the context of a reel it doesnt because all we see is a blur move across the screen.
-during the kick the character is not balanced.

Yo want your first shot to be your strongest so it grabs the viewers attention and keeps them watching. And then you want the last shot to be your second strongest so that people remember you as being a good animator.

hope that helps

Hello Yasha,

Thank you for your response. I agree with you about the reel. The last part of the reel was some of my early animations. Please take a look at the latest project I worked on with my brother. Only some of the animation is mine, the rest is his. Let me know what you think of this.
