anyone have any boat-blueprint sites?
I've seen OnnoVanBraam.com and Suurland.com blueprints, but I'm looking for nice boats like cruiseships or speed/powerboats, not those was ships

hey nice and a very helpful thread.


But can anyone please help me out by giving me a link to some site which has blueprints of old / classic cars like the models between the 50's - 70's ?

I just ran across this site in my searching. It still doesn't really fulfill my searches for classic wooden fishing vessels, but there be plans here!

boatdesign.net/Directory/Boat_Plans

Checkout the free models of course, but also make sure and thumb through the links to the commercial designers. Many of them have small images of their plans which would be great for modelling reference.

Also if you go to the base url boatdesign.net you can find some plans and reference images in the gallery.

I find that when it comes to older cars, the best thing to do is pick up a decent model kit. I found one for a 68 firebird, scanned the instructions and used it as a base. This a pretty cheap way of doing it (10 -20 bucks) and you can build the model too

A good source for Ducati Blueprints are the PDF manuals available for download off there website.

Just use Acrobat and save as JPEG images.
