Hey man,

Have you tried using smooth mesh under the attributes tab? Your mesh might be smoothing like that because your polys aren't connected. Try using the merge tool under edit mesh.

Sorry for the late response,
AJ

Hi Thanks for the answer!

I am following a modelling a car tutorial. the guy modelles everything with polygons and then subdiv instead of amooth because of the Crease Option for some Edges, if need. i could use smooth on everything but it wouldnt look so nice as the auto of the tutorial.

What do you mean with merge? select object->merge and then try again polytosubdiv?
i am trying to do it, but when i do merge to it and then try to polytosubdiv, i get --> Error: Command polyToSubdiv failed :(

polyToSubdiv -ap 0 -ch 0 -aut off -maxPolyCount 1000 -maxEdgesPerVert 32 |pPlane1|front_fender|polySurface1|bajoCapote|bajo CapoteShape;
// Warning: Nothing is selected. Select objects or components to delete. //
// Error: Command polyToSubdiv failed. Open Script Editor for details. //
