Question Spline question

Hi, I have a few questions.

Basically I'm trying to chamfer the edges to a 3d logo I made recently in 3Ds Max using all splines. When I choose to select edges by "border" it doesn't select all of the edges around curves, why is this? Am I going to have to select every edge manually?

Thanks in advanced.

if your mesh was extruded from a spline then it likely has a large n-gon face.(5 or more edges) This means that an edge loop will be interrupted by 'star verts'(verices that have other than 4 edges connecting) so you can't select an entire loop. You can however, select the n-gon face and ctrl-click edge sub-object mode to convert your face selection to edges. Or delete the n-gon, select the open border edges and convert that to edge selection. Now make your modifications and cap the border when finished.

Thanks so much for the reply! I have it all figured out so far.
