Here's a basic tutorial I wrote a while ago about adding grooves or ridges to a NURBS model. It's written for Rhino but should be applicable to most other NURBS modeling apps too:

Know any tutorials for modelling a fat man?

Hi there. does anyone know how to create a fat man in Poser, Sumo wrestler type guy! I am a beginner, does anyone have any tutorials or anything like that, or possibvly a model to start me off?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

plant modelling

Modeling a low poly Head in Max with Edtiable Poly




I posted this in the Max forum too, but forgot about this one. This is not the standard box-modeled head tutorial, but instead, is created using edge extrusion. It's a very quick technique, and will let you do heads like this in about half an hour.
