construction animation techniques ?

Hi there everybody,

I was wondering if there is a script out there that would help achieving animations of this sort:

Doesnt have to be the exact thing but I basically need to animate construction of some buildings.

Doing that piece by piece would probably be the wrong way. I can render elements and tweak timings in post but would like to hear about other techniques as well.

Thanks

Serkan

Thank you !
These are very helpful. It seems like I need to get my hands on ICE.

Thanks !!!

I am also considering using 3dsmax since most of the architectural work I see around has been done with that, I feel like there might be some good plugins...
