New Tutorials for After Effects, Maya MoCap, 3ds Max Modeling, Digital Art & More

We're happy to announce eight exciting new tutorials now available for viewing on Digital-Tutors.

This last release of the month marks one of the best months for new releases on Digital-Tutors so far, with Learn more on 54 new tutorials added to the training library.

We're working hard to build out more training options for artists to keep learning, push their skills and push their creative limits.

New Tutorials Released:

Watch the new Retargeting MoCap to Custom Rigs in Maya tutorial and learn how to quickly remap animations to custom rigs in order to improve your productivity

Learn how to model a sci-fi weapon using hard surface modeling techniques in the new Modeling Sci-Fi Weapons in 3ds Max

Learn how speed sculpt clean, cartoony character busts from start to finish in the new Creative Development tutorial: Speed Sculpting a Cartoon Head in ZBrush with Shane Olson

Create believable and stable ecosytems in the new Creative Development tutorial: EcoSystems in Vue with Scott McEwan

New After Effects training this week includes the new tutorial on Using lights to create shadows for animated layers in After Effects

More After Effects training this week includes a new tutorial on Creating a Watercolor Painting Effect in After Effects

Watch the new Beginner's Guide to Vector Drawing in Illustrator and get a good understanding of the basic terms, tools and techniques you'll need in order to be successful with vector drawing

Push the visual depth, direction, and appeal of your own illustrations with new training on Creating Atmospheric Depth for Illustrations in Photoshop

See all 54 tutorials released in January and watch the January new-training video.

Become a Member and push your creative limits with access to over 900 tutorials on Digital-Tutors.

Note: Some releases will be larger than others and if you don't see something for your software of choice, we encourage three options:

- (The obvious one) More training coming next week - Try watching Creative Development courses with tips and techniques that are applicable to many software (we encourage this for mid-to-advanced artists)

- Tell us what you would like to see next! Submit a training request.
